Your friend books a container with PODS

They must complete an order with the same email address you submitted through this form. You are only eligible if they book after they have been referred.

They get their container delivered

Once their container is delivered, we can process your gift cards. We will send referral program progress updates in your friend's service communications.

Receive a $50 gift card

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if PODS received my referral?

You will receive a confirmation email upon every referral you submit. The person you referred will also receive an email notifying them that you referred them. If the person you referred has already been referred, you will receive communication that they have already been referred. If you or your friend do not receive a confirmation email, double check that you entered the right email addresses and re-submit the referral.

Is there a reward if I refer a friend?

Yes, the Referrer and the Referred Customer will each receive a $50 USD gift card after the Referred Customer books with PODS and completes their first delivery. The reward will be sent via email to the email addresses provided with the initial referral.

What if we haven't received gift cards?

If it has been more than fourteen (14) business days, there could be a few reasons why you and your friend did not receive gift cards: If the person you referred booked with a different email address than what you submitted for them in the referral form, then the referral cannot be validated, and you both will not receive gift cards. Ensure that the email address you submit for them is the email address they book with. If the person you referred did not submit an order or complete their first delivery, you will not receive a gift card. You are only eligible for a reward if the person you refer books after they've been referred. If you refer someone after they've already booked with PODS, the referral cannot be validated, and you both will not be eligible.

When will we receive our rewards?

An Gift Card valued at $50 USD will be sent via email within fourteen (14) business days after the Referred Customer’s first container delivery. The gift card will be sent to the email addresses provided to PODS via the referral form. The Referred Customer must complete an order with the email address that was submitted by the Referrer to qualify both the Referrer and the Referred Customer for the rewards. Make sure that the email address is correct, otherwise the referral cannot be validated and the rewards will be not distributed.

Do the gift cards expire?

No. Per's terms, the portion of your Balance made up of gift cards issued after October 1, 2005, does not expire and may be applied to your account and applied to eligible purchases despite any stated expiration date.

Is there a limit to how many friends I can refer or the rewards I can earn?

Yes, you can only be rewarded for up to five (5) referrals. If you refer ten (10) people and they all complete all of the requirements of the program, all ten (10) of them will receive their reward and you will be rewarded for the first five (5).

Can I receive a reward for customers I referred before the Referral Program was active?

No, you are only qualified to receive the reward while the program is active. If you referred a friend through the referral form and the Referred Customer has met all their requirements, you both will receive a $50 USD gift card.

Who is eligible to be a Referrer?

The PODS Referral Program is open to customers whose location of service is in the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States, Hawaii and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older. Officers, directors, managers and employees of PODS Enterprises, LLC (the “Sponsor”) and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and related companies, advertising and promotion agencies, consultants and agents, as well the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such person, any others engaged in the development, production, execution or distribution of the PODS Referral Program are not eligible to participate.

Does the Referred person have to be a new customer who has never used PODS? Can it be a past or existing customer?

The Referred Customer does not have to be a new PODS customer. It can be a past or existing customer if a new quote is generated, a container order is placed, and the container is delivered after they have been referred.

How do I refer friends?

Submit the referral form above with your email address and the Referred Customer's email address. Make sure that your friend completes their order with the email address specified in the form. If they complete an order with a different email address than what you submitted with your referral, your referral cannot be validated.

Is there a way for me to track the status of my referrals?
