Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your order at no cost if you contact us by 4 p.m. local time, at least three days before your first container is scheduled to be delivered. Otherwise, you may be charged a cancellation fee. If you cancel after your first container is delivered, the delivery fee, first month’s rent, and Contents Protection coverage (if applicable) will be charged and are nonrefundable.


Need to make changes to your order?

  • To cancel your entire order before your first delivery: Chat with one of our associates or call (855) 706-4758 by 4 p.m. local time, at least three days before your container delivery date. You must connect with our Customer Care Team – either by chat or phone – to cancel. We can’t accept cancellation requests by email, social media, or voicemail. If you cancel after 4 p.m. three days before your delivery, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $150.
  • To cancel your entire order after your container(s) is delivered: Chat with one of our associates or call (855) 706-4758 as soon as possible. The delivery fee, first month’s rent, and Contents Protection coverage (if applicable) are nonrefundable.
  • To cancel part of your order: Chat with one of our associates or call (855) 706-4758 by 4 p.m. local time, at least three days before your container is scheduled to be delivered to cancel part of your order at no cost. Example: If you need to change your order from three containers to two containers and contact us by 4 p.m. local time three days before, a cancellation fee will not apply.
  • To reschedule your container delivery: If you don’t want to cancel your order, but your delivery date no longer works for you, you can reschedule. Visit MyPODS.com to change your delivery date by 4 p.m. local time three days before your current service date with no fee. If you reschedule after 4 p.m. local time three days before your service delivery date, fees may apply.
  • To make other changes to your order: Chat with one of our associates or call
    (855) 706-4758 by 4 p.m. local time, at least three days before your container is delivered for requests beyond modifying container quantities and service dates. Example: You want to upgrade from an 8-foot container to a 16-foot container. Modifying products and services may result in a change to applicable fees.
  • Order Change Due to Your Failure to Comply: If PODS is unable to complete a scheduled service due to circumstances caused by you, you will be responsible for the fee associated for the attempted service, not to exceed $150.00. This may occur, for example, if PODS is unable to deliver a container because the delivery site does not meet PODS’ placement requirements, or if PODS is unable to pick up the container due to an obstruction preventing access to the container.
