Commitment to Diversity

A commitment to diversity, inclusion and equal employment opportunity is the foundation for recruiting and hiring employees at PODS. The commitment of PODS to the most fundamental principles of freedom, equality of opportunity, and human dignity requires that decisions involving employees be based on individual merit and be free from invidious discrimination in all its forms.

PODS will not engage in discrimination or harassment against any person because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, unfavorable discharge from the military or status as a protected veteran and will comply with all federal and state nondiscrimination, equal opportunity and affirmative action laws, orders and regulations. This non-discrimination policy applies to employment, access to and treatment of PODS programs and activities.

PODS complaint and grievance procedures provide employees with the means for the resolution of complaints that allege a violation of this Statement.

Both state and federal laws govern the recruiting and hiring processes, including laws and regulations containing non-discrimination, equal opportunity, and affirmative action provisions.

Several federal and state laws include non-discrimination and/or reasonable accommodation provisions for people with disabilities, including the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Employers are required to make reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities, as defined by law, throughout the recruiting process and after employment.
