PODS Sacramento is dedicated to giving back when we can. We have partnered with the wonderful charity organization, Coats For Kids and lend our containers as storage for winter coats that are collected for children in need. Their mission is, “to ensure that every child who needs a winter coat receives a new one.” We can’t think of a better cause or organization to be a part of since giving a child a new coat positively impacts that child’s self-esteem and self-worth. Through creative fundraising and dedicated volunteers, Coats For Kids has been able to donate more than 10,000 coats during the four years they have been performing such drives. Delivering a message of hope to less fortunate children during the holiday season is just another way PODS Sacramento likes to give back. PODS of Sacramento have lent their storage containers as storage units to store toys that are collected by the U.S Marine Corps to donate to underprivileged children. A yearly charity drive that starts collecting in October to encourage youngsters to become responsible, productive and patriotic citizens.
