Toys for Tots

As a local community business, we feel it is our responsibility to give back when we have the chance. PODS of Riverside supports the local Toys for Tots charity drive. Every year, the charity begins collecting toys in mid- October to distribute to needy children in the area during Christmas time. As charity foundation started by the US Marine Corps, the goal is to inspire children to deliver a message of hope for those less fortunate. Toys for Tots has grown to be such a success, the foundation has grown into charity golf tournaments, bike races, marathons and other voluntary events that continue to inspire and spread hope and cheer. Music Changing Lives

Music Changing Lives is a non-profit organization offers mentorship programs to young, neglected and underprivileged children everywhere the chance at achieving a positive and successful life. The main goal of the charity is to educate children from the ages of 11-18 the importance of an education. Offering programs that increase school attendance improve current academic skills, enhance self-esteem, and educational attitudes in students who have dropped out of high school, and may have no other opportunity in completing a high school education. Because MCL is a non-profit organization, they rely on the help of charitable volunteers and local businesses like PODS. MCL started a Haiti Relief program where they collected various necessity items to ship overseas. PODS of Riverside donated their containers to house and store the items that were collected ranging from toys to office supplies. “There are so many uses for our PODS® containers,” said Todd Andrews, Territory Manager of PODS Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. “Being in a position to help charitable organizations so they can concentrate on fundraising efforts to achieve their goals and help those in need is such a rewarding feeling.”
