GSA Schedules Program Offers Special Pricing, Ease of Procurement for Federal and Local Agencies

Clearwater, Fla., October 3, 2007 -- PODS® Enterprises, Inc., an international provider of mobile storage and moving solutions for residential and business customers, today announced that its solutions have been added to the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Schedules Program. Under the program, a wide range of local and federal government agencies can procure PODS services at a pre-negotiated price.

The contract defines approval of PODS 12- and 16-foot containers for moving and storage within the United States. Today, agencies utilize PODS containers during facility renovations, to store items onsite or in a PODS storage center, to relocate employees, to aid disaster response efforts and more.
“This is an important step in strengthening our government relationships,” said Christine Pierce, senior vice president of corporate development at PODS. “We have already implemented successful solutions within civilian agencies and the military, and being awarded the GSA contract makes it much easier for agencies to work with us.”
