Annual BBQ
The Plantation Volunteer Fire Association will host its 55th Annual Barbecue on Sunday, November 6th from 12:00 noon to 5:00 P.M.
The annual barbecue is one of the largest and oldest city-wide traditions. The half-century old event will be held at Pine Island Park, 300 South Pine Island Road, in Plantation. The program offers live music, kids games, bounce houses, raffle prizes, live demonstrations and much more. The traditional menu features ribs, chicken, beans, and cole slaw.
PODS of Fort Lauderdale is proud to announce an alliance with Toys for Tots, a charitable program run by the U.S. Marines Reserve, which helps to provide happiness and hope to disadvantaged children each Christmas holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by the Marines offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.
