PODS Columbia Charitable Partnerships
Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity
We are happy to be in partnership with Columbia’s Habitat for Humanity where we provide PODS containers to be used at remote build sites around town. For more information visit Habitat for Humanity Columbia.
The Cooperative Ministry
PODS of Columbia is proud to support the Cooperative Ministry by providing containers to be used at various community collection drives throughout the year. The Cooperative Ministry gives the items to people fighting poverty in the Midlands. For more information visit The Cooperative Ministry.
Junior League of Columbia
We have partnered with the Junior League of Columbia to provide containers for the annual Clean Sweep Rummage Sale. “Rummage” is collected throughout the year and stored in PODS containers until the sale at the Fairgrounds each February. The proceeds from the sale go back to support various non-profit organizations and community events. If you haven’t been to the sale, it is quite the event! For more information visit Junior League of Columbia.
Ronald McDonald House of Columbia
Each year, the Ronal McDonald House has a Spring Cleaning day to spruce up the house and make any necessary repairs. We have donated PODS containers when they need onsite storage during the event, allowing them to de-clutter, get in and do the work, then move back in the furniture once the house is ready. For more information about this great organization, visit Ronald McDonald House of Columbia.
Sistercare is an organization that offers programs and services to battered women and children in the Midlands. During the Holiday Season, PODS of Columbia provides a container to Sistercare to store gifts for women and children. For more information visit Sistercare.
Toys for Tots
PODS of Columbia, as well as PODS nationally provide containers to be used as collection points for Toys for Tots. We are happy to provide an easier way to collect all the toys to be distributed to deserving families before the Holidays! For more information visit Toys for Tots.
