August 28, 2012 - INTERVIEW: PODS discusses hire of Koch as new president and CEO

(Clearwater, Fla.) – Moving and storage company PODS Enterprises Inc. announced this week that John B. Koch will become its president and chief executive officer, effective Sept. 17. He is transitioning from his current role as president of ADT North America's Residential/Small Business division.

April 05, 2011 - PODS donates containers for Shelton Quarles’ Impact Foundation

(Clearwater, Fla.) – When it comes to contributing to community organizations the Tampa Bay area PODS is bringing their “A” game in support of Shelton Quarles’ IMPACT Foundation. By providing a convenient moving and storage product, PODS® containers are often seen throughout neighborhoods before and after a move as well as during a home or business renovation. So when the Tampa Bay area PODS was approached by Shelton Quarles’ “Home Blitz” program, they were happy to help.

Founded by Quarles in 2004, the IMPACT foundation’s main program is the Home Blitz. Each spring, at-risk single-mom families that are awarded the Home Blitz makeover are selected to receive various upgrades to their home, including more energy efficient updates. Full Release

January 17, 2011 - PODS partnership with Toys for Tots a holiday success for children throughout the U.S.

(Clearwater, Fla.) – PODS Enterprises, Inc. and its first ever national charity collaboration with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation proved to be a great success, providing over 170 PODS® containers to support the organization’s annual holiday toy drive across the United States.

The annual Toys for Tots program, which runs from Oct. – Dec., collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes them as Christmas gifts for children in need throughout communities in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Full Release

November 5, 2010 - PODS teams with The Salvation Army in Canada to brighten the holidays for people in need

(Clearwater, Fla.) – The PODS Canadian franchise network in Toronto, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Calgary, Vancouver, and Ottawa has teamed up to support The Salvation Army this holiday season to provide PODS® moving and storage containers as they collect food, clothing, toys and other items for the needy. The PODS® containers will be used to store donated goods at Salvation Army collection points across Canada which PODS will then transport to local Salvation Army distribution centers. This is the first year that PODS has assisted The Salvation Army in Canada with its holiday collection efforts.

October 15, 2010 - PODS Welcomes Clive Burton as Vice President of Sales

October 10, 2010 - PODS teams with Toys for Tots to brighten the holidays for children in need across the U.S.

(Clearwater, Fla.) – PODS Enterprises, Inc. and its franchise network, have reached an agreement with the Marine Toys for Tots in which the company will donate usage of thousands of portable storage containers to support Toys for Tots in its annual holiday toy drive.

September 13, 2010 - PODS Hires John Cameron as Senior Vice President of Long-Distance Moving and Corporate Operations

July 22, 2010 - PODS supports U.S. servicemen and women at over 100 military installations through alliance with NEXCOM, AAFES and MCCS

(Clearwater, Fla.) - The Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM), Army Air Force Exchange System (AAFES) and Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) have a multi-year contract with PODS Enterprises, Inc. to bring the company’s portable storage containers to CONUS military installations. May 14, 2010 - PODS moving data reveals greater population stability in the Southeastern U.S.

CLEARWATER, Fla.) – Recent data released by PODS Enterprises, Inc., one of the leaders in the moving and storage industry, shows significant migration trend changes over the past year.

According to the moving patterns of PODS customers, in 2009, the southeastern U.S. reversed last year’s trend of significant net outbound moves from cities that had previously exhibited long-standing patterns of residential growth. An analysis of PODS moving data revealed that seven out of the top 11 U.S. cities with a reduction in the percentage of people leaving in 2009 were in Florida. Full release
